Small Business Spotlight – SOAKS IN THE CITY [spon]

Working in New York City was exactly everything I ever imagined: uplifting, exciting, challenging, and ultimately? Stressful. That being said, I love doing anything and everything I can do to give my mind, body, and soul, a little tender loving care. Yoga classes and massages add up and get rather expensive quite quickly. I’m a big fan of finding ways to treat myself without having to sacrifice too much time or money.

You may have heard of bath bombs, but are not quite sure what they are or how they work. Simply drop your bath bomb in a tub full of warm water, and you can soak in the gorgeous colors (they won’t stain your skin!) and smell the fragrances emitting from the bath bomb. It’s like aromatherapy for  adults who are still kids at heart.

Bath bombs are super trendy right now, and I had always thought that they were on the expensive side of self-care. I was clearly wrong, so I’m so glad I discovered SOAKS IN THE CITY. It was like a calling, and I’m lucky enough to have combo shower and tub my apartment—it’s a tiny bathroom, but it’ll do!—and literally soak in the city. Am I too corny? Embrace the cheesiness.
