#SmallBusinessSaturday – appendTo

In true spirit and fashion of #SmallBusinessSaturday, I came across this great tech company that isn’t very small after all! They really know how to differentiate themselves from the hundreds of other tech companies I’ve heard about. They’re called appendTo, and they are not your average tech guru’s web development company. Some of their big clients, you may have heard of them, include Microsoft, Blackberry, Time.com, Celebrity Cruises, and one of my all-time favorites, ZUMBA!

They are 100% distributed—featuring only the best and brightest on their team from across the globe. The AppendTo team are technical ninjas, true masters of the art of consulting, development, and training. I love the fact that they are proud of and own their company culture. Not to mention I couldn’t help but notice they have a woman on their team. I love seeing women in the tech world! Break the glass ceiling, ladies!

Why should people slave away for 12 hour work days? Not at appendTo! I love working with companies that actually recognize and value their employees’ time. They give their employees the ability to choose where they work since they’re so geographically dispersed. This is great on the client’s end too when you’re trying to reach someone in the middle of the night and it’s 9 AM their time!

The appendTo team has a true passion of their craft. Because of that passion, they’ve been able to collaborate with industry leaders. We’re talking Lenovo, Pearson, and Purdue Pharma. A few months ago, appendTo was acquired by DevelopInleligene, which is the leading provider in custom software development training solutions. appendTo continues to deliver their commitment to their clients’ training needs.

If you’re interested in partnering with appendTo or getting custom training in computer programming (every person should know some basic coding!), I highly suggest your visit their website: http://appendto.com/. They currently offer custom training in the following areas: AngularJS,Backbone.JsCSSEmber.JsGit,JasmineJavaScriptjQueryNode.js,ReactResponsive Web DesignSass and LESS, and Web Development.
